Day 1

So, I have started a workout and diet plan and decided that maybe if I post my progress, it will motivate me to continue with the plan for an extended period of time for once in my life. I started strong with the exercise this weekend. I used the weight machine in the gym in my apartment building yesterday and also ran some one the treadmill and spent 10 mins on the elliptical. Today I ran for 20 minutes and spent 20 on the elliptical. I am very sore!! My food intake has been ok but not great. I am trying to watch carbs without being psychotic about it and overall keep my calorie intake down. But I had a small piece of ice cream cake tonight. Uggh. And I was doing so well up to that point. At least I worked out today. Back on the wagon tomorrow, the plan is to do the same amount of cardio as I did today only I have to do better on the food part of this plan.

So, I am trying to keep track of my schedule and pencil in workouts as if they are real appointments. I would never skip a session with a client so I shouldn't skip workouts either!

Monday- Work out by 8 pm and be finished at 9ish.

Tuesday- no workout, too much going on!

Wednesday- I have a nice gap in the day. I plan to have sessions until 11:30, come home to work out from 12:30-2 ish.

Thursday- get up at 8, be done working out by 9:30. Prep food and go enjoy the day.

Friday- Work out from 3-4.

Sat- Get up at 8, workout until 9:15 (just cardio, weights on Sun!)

Sun- workout from 1-2:45 after a leisurely morning!

Let's see how well I stick to the plan.
